Rotary Club of Bayview Sunshine HK was chartered on March 13th, 1996 by a group of ladies coming from a diverse background and professions. Over the past years, the members of the club had completed many meaningful community service projects, helping the less fortunate both locally and internationally. Some of the aforesaid projects were organized or partner-in-service with other non-government organizations, religious organizations as well as local universities and schools. We have been awarded as Caring Organization by the Hong Kong Council of Social Services since 2007.

This Rotary year, the club focuses on the community services projects especially for youth and elderly. Most of the projects will correspond with the Rotary International theme: "Rotary Opens Opportunities ". Through our community services projects, we hope to create pathways for our members and the persons in need to improve their lives. We shall also echo the theme of our District 3450 on health, peace and environment. We are planning projects to help the needy in the pandemic period of Covid-19 and to connect the young people with the aged and to allow them to understand more about dementia.

We have close connections with Rotary Club in Tai Chung and Philippines. The Rotary Club of Sanchung Chianshi (三重千禧扶輪社), District 3490 and Rotary Club of Quirino Manila Central, District 3810 are our sister clubs . Our club also sponsors the Interact Club of St Rose of Lima's College to develop the youth aged 12 to 18 by providing guidance and support for service.
